Die Firma EST (ESSENTEC) ist euch vielleicht schon aus unserem "Cuprum vs. Aluminium Heatsink Shootout" bekannt. Dieses mal begutachten wir die neue X-Serie der Firma EST aus Taipei in Taiwan. Genauer gesagt handelt es sich um den EST-CU-2121-A4 für den Sockel A und seinen Bruder EST-CU-2122-I für den Sockel 478. Das besondere an den beiden ist das Kühlkörper-Design. EST hat sich dieses mal etwas besonderes einfallen lassen und die Kühllammelen nicht auf die Bodenplatte direkt aufgebracht, sondern Horizontal um eine Art Feiler herum. Das ganze soll selbst mit einem sehr schwachen Luftstrom noch für eine genügende Kühlleistung sorgen.
