Posted on Thursday, March 29 2007 @ 19:21:12 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Our friends from Chile Hardware had a meeting with a engineer from Seagate and they had a good chat. Here's what they've learned:

By the end of April we can expect a 1TB HDD from Seagate, it will be part of the Barracuda 7200.11 lineup.

    More specifications:
  • 1 Terabyte
  • 7200RPM
  • Sata II
  • Perpendicular recording
  • NCQ
  • 16MB of buffer
  • 4 platers
  • 8 heads
