Intel to introduce 2.8GHz Celeron on 5th of November

Posted on Thursday, October 09 2003 @ 20:33:39 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

According to the Inquirer we can expect the launch of a 2.8GHz Intel Celeron CPU on the 5th of November (hey that's my birthday!). They also mention a few Celeron price cuts :

But shortly before then, on the 26th of October, we'll see price cuts on the 2.5GHz, 2.4GHz and 2.3GHz Celerons.

They'll drop to $79, $69 and $69 respectively – meaning that the 2.3GHz chip is for the chop.
