Nokia 7700, yes you can call with it

Posted on Tuesday, October 28 2003 @ 20:17:42 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

This is the second phone that Nokia released today, the 7700. The Tri-band mobile phone has a 640*320 pixels 65,000 colour touch screen optimized for viewing Internet content and it can also playback music and video. The features of this Nokia Series 90 based phone are huge : it has an integrated VGA camera (640x480 pixel resolution; 2 x digital zoom), FM radio, MP3 player, MMS support, 20-25MB internal memory, support for removable memory cards, Bluetooth, Symbian OS, ... But with his 183g it is quite heavy. It measures 133.7 x 79.5 x ~21.6 mm.

The Nokia 7700 will also support the Nokia Streamer SU-6 accessory, the first mobile IP Datacast receiver designed to demonstrate the mobile phone television experience using the DVB-H network. The Nokia Streamer can be attached to the Nokia 7700 like a battery pack, and will be used in pilot projects to showcase the future of digital broadcasting on mobile devices.
It will be available in Q2 2004.
