Medion to release 400EUR 10-inch Eee PC rival

Computer maker Medion is showing off a couple of interesting notebooks at CeBIT.

Eee PC rival
The firm showed off a prototype of a 10" subnotebook that will cost only 400EUR. This model will feature a standard hard drive and should be available in August. Later they will also release a 8.6" model with a solid state drive (SSD).

Akoya S5610
This system will be a very thin model with a 15" LCD display. It's based on the Intel Centrino platform and will feature an optical drive, e-SATA and HDMI. This notebook is also slated for August.
