Zepto, a not so well known Danish PC maker, announced its going to release a 299EUR notebook in Europe.

The system is called Titan and is an attempt to grab some marketshare of the cheap subnotebooks like the Asus Eee PC. The Zepto Titan features a 15.4" LCD display but most of its hardware is not so impressive; the notebook features a Intel Celeron M550 2GHz processor, 1GB memory, SiS Mirage graphics, 80GB HDD, a DVD burner and a 3-in-1 memory card reader.

The Zepto Titan notebooks will be available by the end of this month, they're priced at 299EUR but they don't come with an operating system preinstalled so if you want Windows XP or Vista you'll have to spend a bit more.
