TechARP heard a couple of interesting things about AMD's and NVIDIA's upcoming graphics cards at Computex.

  • The site confirms the Radeon HD 4850 launch has been delayed to June 25, 2008.

  • Three ATI partners told them the Radeon HD 4870 won't be available anytime soon, the final boards aren't even ready yet.

  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 200 series launch is set for June 17, 2008.

  • There's chatter that the GeForce GTX 260 may be delayed to mid-July but this rumour was denied by at least 3 other NVIDIA partners who say the card will be ready for sale on launch day.

  • One source claims NVIDIA is withholding GeForce GTX 280 GPU supply and claims the cards will be available worldwide within 1 week from the launch date. Three other NVIDIA partners say the cards will be available at launch date.
