NVIDIA GeForce 9300 and 9400 chipset specifications unveiled

The specifications of the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce 9400 and GeForce 9300 IGP chipsets were published at HKEPC, these chipsets for the Intel platform should be available next month. The site unveils the MCP7A-U (GeForce 9400) will have 16 stream processors, 580MHz core and 1.5GHz shader clock while the MCP7A-S (GeForce 9300) has 16 stream processors, 450MHz core and 1.2GHz shader clock.

Other than the IGP clockspeeds both chipsets are very similar, they both support Hybrid SLI, PureVideo and CUDA and have HDMI, DVI, DisplayPort and D-Sub display outputs. Other features include 1333MHz FSB support, dual-channel DDR2-800/DDR3-1333 memory support, one x16 and four x1 PCI Express Gen2 slots, six SATA ports, RAID 0, 1, 0+1 and 5, 10/100/1000 Ethernet and 12 USB ports.
