ATI unveils hotfix driver for Far Cry 2

Posted on Monday, October 20 2008 @ 20:18:02 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Even though the game isn't officially released yet, ATI rolled out a new hotfix this weekend that boosts performance in the DX9 and DX10 versions of savanna's shooter Far Cry 2. You can grab it over here, it's available for Windows XP and Vista and supports most ATI cards since the Radeon x1000 series.
  • Improves performance for the DirectX 9 version of Far Cry 2 on CrossFire™ compatible systems
  • Improves performance for the DirectX 10 version of Far Cry 2 on both single and CrossFire™ compatible systems
