MSI is showing off the 10" U115 Hybrid netbook at CeBIT, this model has a battery life of 12 hours with a 6-cell battery under ECO mode.
Within the market of netbooks, MSI has always played the role of the innovator and provided technological revolution for the netbook products. After leading the market with the U100 10" netbook in 2008, MSI announced the new product including U120, U115 Hybrid and U110 ECO netbooks. U120 is the first "WiMAX Ready" netbook in the market. U115 Hybrid is the world's first netbook with both SSD and HDD drives built-in, where the innovative dual storage design and ECO power saving technology extends the battery life of the netbook up to 12 hours (with a 6cell battery)!

The dual storage design of the U115 Hybrid offers you the pick of a 8GB or 16GB SSD matched to a 120GB or 160GB 2.5" SATA hard disk. As the U115 Hybrid's operating system is loaded on the SSD, boot times and performance are greatly increased. This also ensures that the operating system can run smoother as well. The SATA hard disk on the other hand provides you with all the storage you need. An unusual feature is the ability to temporarily shut down the SATA hard disk in ECO mode. All data access and storage is handled by the SSD instead, allowing the U115 Hybrid to achieve up to 12 hours of battery life.

MSI is also presenting the Wind U110 Eco netbook, this 10" system promises a battery life of 9 hours with a 6-cell battery, it's not as much as the U115 Hybrid but still pretty impressive.
The U110 ECO making its debut at CeBIT features the Atom processor on the Intel Menlow platform. With the MSI exclusive power saving design, the netbook features up to 9 hours of battery life when using a 6cell battery – the "Crown in Power Saver" among netbooks. In addition to the 9 hours of battery life, the U110 ECO is also fairly thin and light at just 1kg and the size of a piece of B5 paper (26cm x 18cm).

Not only that, the U110 ECO supports 802.11 b/g/n wireless networking and Bluetooth technologies. With up to 2GB supported memory, full multimedia interface including 4-in-1 card reader (XD, SD, MMC, Memory Stick), three USB2.0 ports, 1.3 or 2.0 megapixel webcam, this fully featured netbook gives you the leisure to enjoy your digital mobile lifestyle.
