Firefox 3.1 may be renamed to Firefox 3.5

Due to the long development time and the number of significant improvements, Mozilla is considering to rename Firefox 3.1 (codename: Shiretoko) to Firefox 3.5.

The increase in version number is proposed due to the sheer volume of work which makes Shiretoko feel like much more than a small, incremental improvement over Firefox 3: TraceMonkey,
