Acer Aspire Timeline features three cheap CULV notebooks

Acer has introduced its Aspire Timeline notebooks, these Intel CULV platform based notebooks will be available in 13.3", 14.1" and 15.6" sizes. They are cheap and come in a enclosure that's about one-inch thick. The Acer Aspire Timeline notebooks feature Intel Core 2 Solo SU3500 or Core 2 Duo SU9400 ULV processors and will be priced between $699 and $899. All models have a 1366 x 768 pixel LED-backlit LCD display with 200 nits brightness.

Acer Aspire Timeline lineup:
  • 3810T: 13.3", 322 (W) x 228 (D) x 23.4/28.9 (H) mm - 1.6 kg ( 3.5 lbs.) with 6-cell battery pack
  • 4810T: 14.1", 338.4 (W) x 240 (D) x 24/28.9 (H) mm - 1.9 kg ( 4.2 lbs.) with 6-cell battery pack
  • 5810T: 15.6", 378 (W) x 259 (D) x 24.8/29.7 (H) mm - 2.4 kg ( 5.3 lbs.) with 6-cell battery pack
  • Inside the Aspire Timeline laptops you'll find the Intel GS45 chipset with integrated graphics, up to 4GB DDR3 1066MHz memory, up to 500GB HDD or 80GB SSD, Windows Vista Home Premium, 5-in-1 memory card reader, multitouch pad, 8x DVD burner (expect 13.3" model), webcam, and more. Battery life is said to be eight hours, and as much as ten hours with a SSD. You can check the full specifications at Acer's website. Availability is unknown.
