Zotac unveils updated GeForce GTX 260

Posted on Monday, May 18 2009 @ 00:41:05 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Expreview reports Zotac China has released a new non-reference GeForce GTX 260 graphics card, the new model has an optimized power supply design and features Arctic Accelero Xtreme GTX cooling with five heatpipes and three 90mm fans.
The 6+3 phase design improves power supply efficiency to 80%. Besides high-quality MOSFET and lots of solid capacitance, the card is also equipped with a group of MLCC capacitances to reduce heat loss and bring down the temperature.

Zotac GTX260-896D3 features 14 Samsung 1.0 GDDR3 memory to form 896MB/448bit, and is coming with core/memory clock of 576/2000MHz. With the help of AC cooler, it should bring impressive overclocking ability.
