TweakTown spotted prototypes of Gigabyte's upcoming P55A and X58A motherboards at Computex. Both models feature 24-phase voltage regulation.
First off, the P55A series will come with up to 24 phases on GIGABYTE's UD5 and Extreme boards, ONFI memory and Dual Smart NET. These will also be the first boards to come out with four SATA-III ports. P55 is a single chip solution from Intel and we will see ONFI being either integrated or by using a small slot, depending on how GIGABYTE wants to do it.

X58A is a full refresh of the X58 board lineup; up to 24 phases of voltage regulation on the Extreme and UD5 and 12 phases on the UD4P and UD4 and eight on other boards. This new X58 range will also include Smart Dual NET, ONFI and SATA-III.
