The Inq reports AMD is working hard to get the RS880 IGP chipset out of the door. This chipset will feature the new Radeon HD 4200 integrated graphics core, which will offer DirectX 10.1 support. The first samples of the AMD RS880 are expected by late August.
Designated the RS880, the device will sport AMD's new Radeon HD 4200 graphics core, which is said to be almost 15 per cent faster than anything comparable that's currently available.

Support for AMD's ever evolving Stream technology will purportedly also be included at the genetic level, for all that's worth, considering the paltry number of Stream partners at present.
