TSMC sales further recovering

TSMC saw a sequential growth of 5.3 percent over May 2009 last month, which narrowed the foundry's on-year decline to 9.6 percent. More info at DigiTimes.
TSMC has announced unconsolidated sales for June were around NT$25.78 billion (US$781 million), an increase of 5.3% over May 2009 but a 9.6% slide from 2008. Accumulated revenues for first-half 2009 totaled NT$109.56 billion, down 35.9% from last year.

On a consolidated basis, TSMC's net sales grew 5% sequentially to about NT$ 26.52 billion in June, with a on-year decline of 10%. The pure-play foundry generated consolidated sales of NT$113.71 billion for January through June, a 35.3% decrease from 2008.
