Akasa Everest notebook cooling station launched

Posted on Sunday, July 19 2009 @ 16:01:42 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Akasa has introduced the Everest, an aluminum notebook cooling stand that offers six height positions and a 70mm fan to cool your hot laptop.
Seen below, the aluminum-made Everest cooling station measures 350 x 335 x 55 mm, weights 1.8kg (not really lap-friendly), is optimized for 15.4-inch laptops and offers six height positions that will help reduce neck and back strain, by enabling an optimum screen elevation. The new device also comes equipped with four USB 2.0 ports, and has a 70mm USB-powered fan that works at speeds between 1500 and 2000 RPM.
