Apple's iPod facing some shortages because of huge demand

Posted on Thursday, December 23 2004 @ 23:49:29 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

Apple's hot gadget - the iPod - is facing some spotty shortages. According to analyst the sales of these nifty audio players will double during the holiday quarter.

Some financial analysts have forecast that Apple (AAPL.O: Quote, Profile, Research) will sell 4 million of the market-leading devices in the current quarter, double the number it sold in the previous period, when they accounted for 23 percent of the Cupertino, California-based company's overall revenue.

If you live in the US then you can buy an iPod at the Amazon webstore.
