Bright Side of News reveals the specifications of the upcoming ASUS P7P55D-E Premium, a new P55 based motherboard that will feature both USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gbps support. Pricing is unknown but it's likely to be a lot considering that the ASUS P7P55D Premium already costs $279.99.
Asus it seems also remembers these days as they are planning a new boards with both USB 3.0 and SATA 6G for the X58 and P55. We were able to get a hold of some early specs for the P55 board, the P7P55D E Premium. This is the same board that had its pictures leaked to the internet this morning. The USB 3.0 will be powered by an NEC D720200F1 chip that supports 2 ports on the back I/O panel.

Of course you can expect the usual plethora of Asus only Features like Turbo V and Asus EPU. It should also have a 48-Phase design like the current P7P55D. At the time of writing there was no official launch date for this board but we are hearing that it should be very soon.
