Creative showcased an upcoming audio player at CES - the Creative Zen Micro Photo - which received a Best of CES Award in the 'Audio to Go' category.

The Zen Micro Photo is able to store up to 7,500 images or 3,000 songs on its 6GB hard disk drive - but Creative said it will also ship the Zen Micro Photo in 5GB capacities.

The device has a 262,144 colors 1.5-inch OLED screen which will allow you to watch slideshows of your photos while listening to music.

It is 3.3" tall and promises a battery life of approx. 12 hours. Just like the original Zen Micro it also features an FM radio and recorder.

The Apple iPod is not really a competitor to Creative's new Zen Micro Photo. The iPod Photo ships in 60GB capacities and is a lot more expensive than these Zen Micro Photo devices from Creative which only have a 5-6GB HDD and thus will be a lot cheaper.
