Google Video blogging to be the next big application?

Posted on Wednesday, April 06 2005 @ 17:27:59 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Google said that it would start a video blogging application, which will allow users to archive their video clips on Google's servers. Video, also referred to as vlogging, might possibly become the next big internet hit just like blogging is a very popular activity right now.

Larry Page, Google's co-founder, said they would start taking video submissions within a few days. They aren't quite sure what they're going to get, but they decided to try this experiment, he said.

Yahoo also announced plans to upgrade its video search service.
