Dutch tech site Hardware.Info published photos of the XFX Radeon HD 6870, their page is already been taken down but fortunately TechPowerUp has a backup. The card seems to be based on the reference model, it uses a large, dual-slot blower-like cooling solution and draws power from two 6-pin power connectors. This card is expected to be released later this month, but keep in mind that these cards will not deliver spectacular performance. The Radeon HD 6800 is the successor to the Radeon HD 5700 series, for the real new high-end cards you'll have to wait until the launch of the Cayman-based Radeon HD 6900 parts.
It draws power from two 6-pin power connectors, has no backplate on the PCB's reverse side, and sports a custom-design rear-panel on which the XFX logo is etched on the exhaust. Display connectors include two DVI, an HDMI, and two mini-DisplayPort.
