Apple iPod byebye? Here's the Nokia N91

Posted on Thursday, April 28 2005 @ 16:24:37 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

    The Nokia N91
With the Nokia N90 the Finnish telecom giant hopes to make a serious debut in the digital audio player market. This smartphone features a 4GB HDD which can hold more than 3,000 songs and has a long battery life.

Nokia claims that the Nokia N91 battery will last for 12 hours, more than Apple iPods. But it doesn't stop here, the phone also features a 2 megapixel camera and 3G features.

The company says the Nokia N91 will be world's best mobile-connected jukebox. Users will be able to download new music on the go, add it to playlists and share playlists with friends. Users will also be able to share music, video and other files through bluetooth.

The N91 will be launched by the end of the year and several manufacturers such as Bose, Sennheiser and JPL have said to provide audio accessories for the N91. This includes headphones and a speaker system.

The Nokia N91 will have a huge advantage in the digital audio player market if it isn't too expensive. With the N91 you'll get a 3G phone, a 2 megapixel digital camera and a MP3 player in one single device.
