    Netscape updates to 8.0.1

    Quickly after the launch of Netscape 8.0 the browser received a new update to fix several security flaws. The version that was released yesterday was based on Firefox 1.0.3, while the new Netscape 8.0.1 is based on Firefox 1.0.4 which includes several security updates.
    Said Andrew Weinstein: "The reason for the update was that we had been misinformed by an external security vendor we had retained that the Firefox 1.0.3 security issues did not affect us.
