Sony says Xbox isn't future-proof

Sony said last week it considers its PlayStation 3 superior to Microsoft's Xbox 360. They claimed the Xbox 360 isn't future-proof:
"It (the PS3) is a box made of future technology as opposed to Xbox 1.5, which seems to be a combination of things available today," added Hirai, president and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment America.
Microsoft responded its Xbox 360 does rely heavily on current hardware technology but that it's software expertise will make it easier and thus cheaper to develop games for the Xbox platform. Read more at Reuters
