ATI Radeon 9000/9000 Pro vs Nvidia Geforce 4 MX440

Posted on Monday, September 30 2002 @ 10:42:13 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

AMDWORLD has compared the 2 lowcost cards of ATI and nVidia,
The ATI Raedon 9000/9000 Pro and the nVidia GeForce 4 MX 440 :
With ATI releasing the recent R9000 family of cards we have seen two relatively new companies appear on the scene when it comes in to the league of video card manufacturers. Those two companies are Connect3D and Sapphire and in all honesty the author fails to recognize the name when it comes looking back at various card manufacturers over the last twelve months. However new or not both companies have the full support of an ATI product on there hands and here in the UK both have seemed to pop up all over the computer retail scene during September 2002.Furthermore it has prompted us to take another look at the Nvidia low cost solution in the class of the Geforce 4 MX440 and this time around from PNY technologies
