Posted on Friday, June 24 2005 @ 09:07:21 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Mobileburn reports about a new exclusive professional cell phone from Mobiado. If you are like bragging with your phone then you might be interested in getting this extra-ordinary phone with a wooden design..

The new Mobiado Profession EM is based on the original Professional model but features a 1.3 megapixel camera and an exotic new wood design. It will be available in Black with either Cocobolo or Honduran rosewood accents.
    Mobiado Professional EM specifications:
  • Band: GSM 900/1800/1900Mhz
  • Data; GPRS/EDGE
  • Size: 105mm x 46mm x 20mm (4.13" x 1.81" x .79")
  • Weight 128g (4.51oz)
  • Battery Life: 150-300 hours standby time / 180-300 minutes talk time
  • Main Display: 65k color TFT, 128x128 resolution
  • Sub-Display: N/A
  • Camera: 1.3 megapixel, 1280x1024 resolution
  • Video: Video capture/playback (QCIF)
  • Memory: 6MB internal memory + MMC card slot
  • Messaging: MMS/SMS
  • Email: Yes
  • Bluetooth: Yes
  • Infrared: Yes
  • Java: Yes (MIDP v2.0)
  • Polyphonics: Yes
  • Radio: FM, with Nokia Visual Radio support
  • Memory: 32MB, MMC memory card slot
  • Other : MP3/AAC/M4A music player, FM radio, supports Nokia's Push-To-Talk, 2 LED flashlights, hands free speakerphone, auto-resize of megapixel images to fit MMS, includes 3D Golf and Street Racer games

  • Besides good looks the phone also weights 14g less than the original model. The only thing that will limit the success of this phone is its huge $1900 price tag. Phone designs with wood and maybe leather will likely become more popular over the next few years.

The phone will be available on June 30 and can be ordered here
