noticed the unannounced AMD A8-7650K APU has shown up in the European e-tail channel for just over 100EUR. This new 28nm Black Edition chip has a 3.3GHz core, 3.7GHz Turbo, 95W TDP, and Radeon R7 integrated graphics. The core and turbo clockspeeds are 100MHz less than that of the similar A10-7700K, which costs 10-15 percent more.
In case you were wondering, the GPU spec is identical too, so you get 384 shaders clocked at 720MHz, and capable of pumping out 553GFLOPS. If this is not enough, you can invest in a discrete Radeon R5 for some Dual Graphics Crossfire fun, which should be enough to run most games in 1080p with plenty of eye candy.
