Microsoft has massive second Patch Tuesday with 34 optional updates

We almost missed this but it appears Microsoft rolled out what could be considered a second Patch Tuesday for April! While the usual Patch Tuesday focuses on security updates, this second wave of patches are all non-security related optional updates for Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1 and Windows Server 2008/2012 R2.

gHacks uploaded a nice summary of the 34 updates:

  • Most of these updates fix small or rare issues and as such they aren't mandatory but they can be useful if you're experiencing issues. You can download these patches via Windows Update.
