ASUS GX700 watercooled laptop: genius or ridiculous?

ASUS revealed three new ROG laptops today but the most interesting one is definitely GX700. This is a pretty unique laptop as it comes with a gigantic watercooling solution.

The laptop itself features the new Core i7-6820HK unlocked "Skylake" laptop processor from Intel, a new high-end NVIDIA video card and a 17.3" screen with 4K resolution.

Not a lot of details were revealed but on the photo below you can see that the GX700 features a fairly large external box that houses a closed looped liquid cooling system, allowing you to reach decent overclocks on your CPU and GPU.

I assume you can undock the watercooler to turn the system in a portable laptop but I'll guess we'll just have to wait a few more months for the details. ASUS says the GX700 hits the market in the fourth quarter but the pricing is still unknown.
