UPDATE: September 4, 2015: Looks like HardOCP and TechPowerUp aren't getting any cards either.

A couple of months ago with the launch of the Fury X it was already problematic for a lot of tech sites to get a card to review and with the soon-to-be-released Radeon R9 Nano it's only going to get worse.

Scott Wasson from The Tech Report just confirmed his site will not be getting a Radeon R9 Nano sample from AMD, which is quite strange since he operates one of the largest computer hardware review sites:
Although we've covered the Fiji GPU and the Radeon R9 Nano graphics card closely since it was first announced, I've just been informed that AMD has chosen not to provide TR with a product sample for review. The reasons behind this decision aren't clear to me, but whatever.
A clear reason isn't provided but it seems AMD wants to avoid negative reviews and I suspect it's going to be hard to write a glowing recommendation for the R9 Nano when its costs $649.
