Just a quick note that AMD's Radeon Pro Duo will be officially launched today. Unfortunately, it's a fairly uneventful launch as AMD didn't send out cards to tech review websites. We can only guess why, perhaps it's just too costly for a product that is not going to attract many sales from gamers. This means the only performance figures available today are those from AMD, which claim the card is 1.5x faster than the NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan X and 1.3x faster than the Radeon R9 295X2.

As mentioned before, this $1,499 card is intended for both the ultra-high-end gaming market and the professional market. It features two Fiji GPUs for a total of 8192 stream processors clocked at 1000MHz and 8GB HBM clocked at 1000MHz effective. All this in a thermal package of 350W.
