Intel will lower the prices of its 65nm dual-core Pentium D 9xx series by 13 to 15 percent on April 23th, DigiTimes heard from their sources at Taiwanese motherboard makers.

The chip giant hopes to accelerate the migration to dual-core processors with these price cuts.

A week after the price cuts, the company will also launch the Pentium D 930 for $530. This will be a dual-core processor clocked at 3.6GHz.
