Where to get big widescreen wallpapers
For 17" LCD displays it's pretty easy to find a nice wallpaper for your
desktop, but once you move to larger and widescreen displays it starts to get
a bit more difficult.
In this article I've lined up a couple of wallpaper sites where you can find
great wallpapers.
InterfaceLIFT - This is one of my favorite sources. They
have wallpapers for nine different resolutions, including 1680 x 1050, 1920 x
1200 and even 2560 x 1600 for 30" LCD displays. InterfaceLIFT has lots of nice
nature wallpapers, like the beautiful "Fall in Tennessee".
Skins.be - If you like girls
Skins.be is the place to be. They have dozens of wallpapers of famous female
celebrities and models. Most of their backgrounds are available in nine
resolutions, with the biggest one being 1920 x 1200. Their collection is
really big and includes Evangeline Lilly, Kate
Beckinsale, Jessica Alba, Hayden
Panettiere, Grace Park and even some nice
shots from Britney Spears before she got all messed up.
Flickr - they have a thousands of nice wallpapers. Or if
you like HDR photos you can go to this link. The size of these wallpapers depends a
bit, some are pretty small but some of them are available in really large
sizes.
DigitalBattle - They have gaming wallpapers, there are
only ten but they are all available in 1920 x 1200.
