    I think that's what Nvidia would have you believe, that the race will head to the "end" of 2009. But I think ATI might have an ace up it's sleeve. ATI has already done 10.1. So what now? ATI has stated openly they are "working closely" with MS to make DX11 a hardware reality. And we know that MS is rushing to get Win7 and thus DX11 as well out the door in finished shape.

    You think DX11 cards are going to come AFTER Win7? I think that if you think that, you are underestimating the course of events...

    If Nvidia waits till Christmas, they'll likely be the last ones to the party. And after all the benefits they got from the 8xxx series and being first to the DX10 party, you'd think they'd want that again.

    Oh well...
