ECS “Hybrid” AMD/Intel FP88 motherboard Review

Posted on Saturday, July 30 2005 @ 21:41:25 CEST by LSDsmurf

We’ve come to expect some “strange ducks” in the industry before, but it looks like ECS is going to be topping most of them with its pending release of the PF88 “Hybrid” motherboard. It’s the first of its kind to support either a socket 775 P4 CPU or an Athlon64, Socket939 with an optional daughterboard. Not only is that part of it a bid “odd” – so is the fact that it’ll use the first mainstream SiS chipset we’ve seen in quite awhile.
