Seven new digital cameras from Canon Review

Posted on Wednesday, April 07 2004 @ 14:44:03 CEST by LSDsmurf

Ixus 500 and Ixus 430 are obviously similar except for the resolution. Is it really worth to go for Ixus 500 with another 100 dollars more? It depends. Hardware wise, they are exactly the same, even the sensor size. Ixus 500 and 430 is enhanced from previous Ixus with slow shutter sync mode for night scenery. What a long waited feature for the series. Their abilities are now comparable to those high-end cameras like PowerShot S50. It is a surprise that such a small, stylish camera comes with great performance too.
