    MSN Messenger 8 Review

Posted on Monday, December 26 2005 @ 03:30:56 CET by LSDsmurf

Someone over at Krazy Letter Forum had the chance to take a look at Microsoft's MSN Messenger 8, here's a short snip from his preview:

I don't know about you, but starting at the MSN 7 series, my copy of MSN freezes for around 5-10 seconds when first starting up. In MSN 8, they didn't seem to fix that, which you can see in the video. To let you know, my computer is a decent computer: Pentium 4 3.2, 1GB ram, ATI Radeon 9600. It's not top of the line, but it's fast enough, and if MSN 8 has the lag on my computer, I'm not sure how it would run on a system with the minimum requirements: a Pentium 233 MHz processer (500 MHz recommended), and Minimum 128 MB of RAM (256 MB recommended)..
