    Foxconn 865A01-PE-6EKRS Motherboard Review

Posted on Friday, April 16 2004 @ 20:39:13 CEST by LSDsmurf

Just a week ago we had a look at a rather nice offering from Foxconn, their 875 chipset board. Its performance was rather on par in comparison to other 875 chipset boards but it lacked the power options that are needed or at least geared towards the Overclocker. Today at ClubOC we have another offering from Foxconn, the 865A01-PE-6EKRS, or for those not familiar with their numbering system, the newest 865PE platform. One of the first questions that you may ask is does it overclock? Well, I'll be honest, no... but it does offer a very good level of performance for the dollar, and it so far has proven to be quite a stable platform with Prescott and EE compatibility. Lets go ahead and check it out!
