    Gigabyte GeForce 6800 GS Review

Posted on Friday, January 20 2006 @ 02:15:52 CET by LSDsmurf

Buying a graphics card? Not sure if you need an XT, GTX, XL, EZ, SE, MX, VIVO, TV, Ultra, Pro, GT, VTD, FX? These are just some of the acronyms buyers have to sift through in an effort to determine what solution suits your needs. Then there are the various model numbers from both ATi and NVIDIA, such as 6200, 6600, 6800, 7300, 7800, X300, X600, X800, X1600, X1800, and believe me the list goes on and on. The point is there are just too many choices confusing the consumer. More often than not a user bases their purchase according to the price range which they have set. However, even shopping for a graphics card this way can still be quite a challenging task if you do not know what you are after.
