    AMD's 3800+ X2 Dual Core Processor Review

    AMD has targeted multi taskers with the X2 line and claims up to an 80% performance improvement while running mutliple applications (for example running an anti virus or spyware program while gaming, or surfing the web while while burning CDs or encoding DVDs), A major misconception among users unfamiliar with dual core processors has to do with performance. Most software consumers use today is optimized for single cored processors. This has led to some disapppointment with some users as they expect extreme performance gains out of the box..
