Sapphire Radeon X1900 XTX 512MB Review

Posted on Monday, January 30 2006 @ 01:14:29 CET by LSDsmurf

To these ranks of super expensive graphics cards, there is now a new addition. Launched just days back as a revision to the Radeon X1800 series, the Radeon X1900 XTX 512MB (part of the X1900 series) is the highest end card from ATI now. Clocked at 650MHz for the core and 1550MHz DDR for its memory chips, the Radeon X1900 XTX 512MB is only slightly faster on paper compared to its lesser brother, the Radeon X1900 XT (625/1450MHz). While it is certainly going to outperform the Radeon X1900 XT, which is already a very fast card as we saw here, how much is the improvement?
