Mushkin Redline XP4000 DDR 2GB Kit Review

Posted on Monday, January 30 2006 @ 20:05:13 CET by LSDsmurf

OcPrices.com has now completed our review of one of the fastest 2GB kits on the market: Mushkin's Redline 2GB kit. Capable of both amazing speed and tight timings we found this product to be a real winner.

"The benefits of having 2GB of memory over 1GB is now well established, with a number of games like Battlefield 2 and F.E.A.R only delivering a truly smooth experience with that extra gig. The main problem that stops many users from wanting to take the plunge is a reduction in overclockability or softening of memory timings when compared to the best 1GB kits. We recently looked at a number of 2GB memory kits in a group test here, in which Mushkin's PC4000 2GB kit took away the top honours. The company has now released a 2GB kit with even more performance, namely the Redline XP4000 we are looking at today."
