ECS Elitegroup 945G-M3 Rev1.0B Viiv Review

Posted on Friday, June 30 2006 @ 13:54:59 CEST by LSDsmurf

Today, I have the opportunity to take a look at one of their latest motherboards, one which is labeled as Viiv-compatible. Based upon the Intel 945G chipset, the aptly named ECS 945G-M3 sports two DDR2-667 slots, one PCI-E x16 slot, one PCI-E x1, two PCI slots, 7.1 channel audio, Firewire, gigabit Ethernet and on-board graphics powered by the Intel GMA950. Sounds pretty powerful, but benchmarks almost always speak for themselves. Has ECS produced another quality motherboard? That's up to you.
