    NYKO AirFlo Mouse Review

Posted on Tuesday, June 15 2004 @ 23:40:02 CEST by LSDsmurf

Setting "I" is very slow and only slightly noticeable. Setting "II" is high and does quite a good job of cooling ALL of your hand, although it is a little hard to get a hand sweat going during winter for testing. ;) The fan does feel good on your palm and is not distracting in any way. Aside from having this great feature, it is actually useful as a mouse! The buttons have a pleasant soft touch to them and the mouse glides across my desk much, much more easily than the previous MS Optical mouse I was using.

I LOVE this mouse and have been using one for 5 years on my main work PC, under constantly HEAVY use, with no problems. This mouse has been dropped, slammed against my desk, stepped on, and other things that have killed mice that cost 5 times more. I rarely use the fan but it does come in handy during those late night coding sessions or marathon gaming. The paint has worn off where my hand and mousepad is rubbing it away, but it still performs just as good as when it was new. Even the fan still works flawlessly! I was lucky enough to get a great deal on 2 of them back in 2003 and will break out the other one if this one ever fails. I don't think that they are making them any longer so jump on one if you get the chance!
