    RTX USB DUALphone Review

Posted on Friday, October 20 2006 @ 00:44:30 CEST by LSDsmurf

Once manufacturers discovered that I was reviewing Skype, they wasted no time sending me handsets and gadgets tailored specifically to the service. The first to arrive, the cordless RTX DUALphone, remains one of the most full-featured I've received. As the name implies, it lets you make and receive both Skype and regular phone calls. The handset communicates wirelessly with a base station that connects via USB to your PC (so you can make Skype calls) and also to the wall jack for your standard phone service, letting you place old-style calls.
