Hitachi's 5200RPM small form hard drive Review

Posted on Thursday, August 05 2004 @ 02:02:08 CEST by LSDsmurf

When it comes to portability, there shouldn’t be a tradeoff in performance just so you can “take it with you”. Also, portability shouldn’t mean loss of functionality. The 5K80 drive from Hitachi Global Storage is a high-performance drive that will swap right into any recently notebook with ease. The performance is well-rounded enough that the 5K80 would also serve well in a blade server or mini-portable drive system.
