Posted on Sunday, August 08 2004 @ 13:28:28 CEST by LSDsmurf

After taking a good look at the 3d-Ultra Cooler from Giga-byte we noticed the first thing that was different with this unit is the shape and design. This unit is designed a little different from yourstandard bladed cooler. This cooler uses what is called a Squirrel Cage Fan, Using this type of setup with the solid copper fins will create a nice vortex or tornado like effect in which will keep other components cooler while it cools your CPU as well. After removing the Volcano 12 cooler and getting the system all setup for the new cooler we ran into the first problem
