Doom 3 server performance analysis, Review

Posted on Tuesday, August 17 2004 @ 01:37:00 CEST by LSDsmurf

Now that I am back for Quakecon, I thought I would write an article on Doom 3 servers. I am going to go ahead and let everyone know that, the dedicated server files are not yet out, but will be soon. In my interview with id on Friday at Quakecon I asked when I could expect to see stand alone dedicated server files for Windows and Linux. id informed me that they have fully functioning server files and that I could expect them in a couple of weeks. When they come out I will do a follow up article including updated system usage in Windows and Linux.
