ATI Catalyst 4.8 drivers benchmarked Review

Posted on Thursday, August 19 2004 @ 00:10:06 CEST by LSDsmurf

ATi releases almost every month a new version of their Catalyst drivers. Often they improve the support for games or fix bugs, sometimes also the speed (unfortunately sometimes the improvements are cheats...). In this comparison we don't want to test the improvements in games or bug fixes, but the increase in speed with the newer versions. Beyond that we also tested the modded drivers Omega, DNA, Forsage, NGO and Unian, but not the beta-versions.
